About Us

Pound Advice is a free money support programme for L&Q residents.  We realise that money problems can cause real worry and anxiety and if you’ve got debts it can be hard to know where to turn.  But help is at hand.  Pound Advice is funded by L&Q and managed for them by We Are Digital.  We’ll make an appointment for you at your local Citizens Advice Bureau or one of our other approved money advice partners or get you help over the phone. Pound Advice helps people to manage their debts and manage your money better by giving you hints and tips to make your money go further and maximise your income. And it’s completely free.

L&Q is a major housing provider with around 90,000 homes across the country, mostly in London and the south east.  Around one in five of its residents feel they aren’t managing their finances well. A similar proportion are not confident in planning a monthly budget and around two in five say they often run out of money. L&Q launched Pound Advice in 2012 to help support its residents who were struggling with their finances. Since then it has supported over 7,000 residents in dealing with their debts and managing their money better.

Our vision is to empower people to enrich their lives and communities. We are a social-impact-driven company with a purpose to deliver positive and practical solutions to break down the barriers of exclusion. We do this by giving people the skills to alleviate digital, financial and social exclusion, through our nationwide network of delivery partners.
