About Us

When you’re on a tight budget, every penny counts. Pound Advice, funded by London and Quadrant Housing Association (L&Q) and managed by We Are Digital, is a money support programme for L&Q residents. The service helps residents make each pound go further, by providing both debt advice and also financial capability / wellbeing support, through face to face and telephone provision across London.

L&Q is a major UK housing provider, with 90,000 homes across the country. Around one in five of the association’s residents feel that they are managing poorly financially. A similar proportion are not confident planning a monthly budget, and around two in five say they often run out of money. Since L&Q launched Pound Advice in 2012, the service has offered support to L&Q residents on more than 7,000 occasions in response to the increasing financial challenges faced by some residents, particularly those on low incomes.

We Are Digital is a training and support services firm with a mission to help organisations tackle digital and financial exclusion for their customers and help them access critical services. It offers training and programme management primarily through face to face, telephone, digital and in-home / outreach support.
